How painful is a ball python bite?
Ball Python bites don’t hurt at all. Again, the mental shock of getting bit by a snake is usually more harrowing the the pain from the bite. The best thing to do if you get bit is remain calm. When a bite occurs, you’ll feel a pressure and squeeze in the afflicted area.
How likely is a ball python to bite?
For most captive bred ball pythons, they never bite. Mine hasn’t bitten me in the 2 years I’ve had him. He’s so docile, he doesn’t even strike rats, just slowly grabs them. Very few captive bred ball pythons are even slightly violent, but wild caught one’s can be.
